At least it's not...okay no, I think I've been mean enough over the fate of my little failure goalie. Who knows, maybe he'll step it up! Maybe! He did well in Buffalo! He just wanted a new shiny helmet and you can't deny him that.

....okay fine. At least it's not Toby Petersen, Sean Avery and a pylon?

Yes.

Yes we are.

Steph: I'd take the pylon over those two.

Dwayne: Bastards! I knew I shouldn't have skimped on sacrificing that goat... ;)

WHERE IS MY JUSSI WHERE IS HE!?

Elly said...

Drea: TAKE HIM. I swear, I'd rather have T-bo back.

Bitchany: We can be hard on goalies, it's true. At least it's not the Leafs? Poor Raycroft.

Jordi: Oh man, I would have taken Jussi in a heartbeat over Conks. How does Ty Conklin get signed before Jussi?

Well, Ty signed a two-way contract, so chances are he's going to be stuck in the AHL. Do you think Jussi would have signed a two-way as well? I'm guessing it had more to do with filling out the WBS roster than it had to do with being signed as an actual MAF backup.

Dwayne, I doubt Jussi would have, considering one of his concerns was playing more games than last season, presumably at the NHL level. He's worth more too, I know he made $800,000 something last season, compared to the $500,000 Conks signed for.

Elly, CRYING INTO HIS HELMET.

Dwayne: Yeah...I doubt he had the idea of being the full time back up (although he did play second to Miller during the Cup, of all things, so who knows?), but I wouldn't trust Sabourin until I've seen him produce. They'll battle it out, most likely.

Steph: The shiny Buffaslug one?

Why this anomosity to Sabby? ;A;. He has a sick wife you know! Ahaha he's not horrible when he backed up Lui, and yeah good team but hey, he won against the Ducks!

Elly said...

Jordi: When we had him before he did well in the AHL and then bombed in the big game...sort of just sticks with you, you know? He did do decently in Vancouver, so I'm reserving judgment.
