Pens v Sens: Game 3, or '...I think I'm going to be sick'

I could go on about bad officating (Referee Tait says that elbows to the face should be called, as should be blatant hooking, even if it is against the opposite team), lack of motivation and movement by the Pens towards the end, horrible hits, and my growing dislike of a one Mr. Schubert. I could even point out that the defense was not all that it was cracked up to be when it was most needed, and as the old standby scapegoat, I'm sure they're all tired from the trip. The only good things were Roberts going off on the refs, again, and Malkin finally dropping the gloves in defense of Sidney. Good for you, Geno, that's what I want to see: spirit.

Instead, I'm going to let the picture speak for my thoughts and feelings on this game and try to forget it. Tuesday is a whole different ballgame, and if these boys have taught us anything this season, it's that anything, and I mean anything, is possible.

Elly,
I'd hate to say it but your team is officially Dead to Me :)

Sherry: Don't hate the team for their retarded fanbase. There are good Penguins fans out there! Too bad they're not as loud as the idiots that sometimes populate the stands. I just can't help but wonder if they even thought about what the actual TEAM thought of their antics.

Ellie: Yeah, now if he can just get some step in his GAME I'll be happy, heh.

It's true - I'm sure some of those people booing were wearing Lemieux and Crosby jerseys...both Canadian.

It just brings back the memory of some of my fellow Habs fans who booed the American national anthem a few years ago. I was embarrassed to be a Habs fan then, and I'm embarrassed to be an American now.

Elly - It's not the fanbase with the booing, it's just the general pestiness that is your team!

Capschick: Yeah, and that makes me really sad and rather embarrassed to be grouped with people like that. I have no love lost on the Habs and most (most! not all :) ) of their fans just based on personal experience with them, but I would never, NEVER, boo O Canada.

Sherry: Ahhh, I see! Well, that's something entirely different. :)
